Our Billing Solution is an integrated, high-performance solution for providers of Telecom and IT services, that entirely covers the business processes from the pickup of relevant data at the network elements up to the billing. Language, data, IT services, content etc. can be processed and brought together in a convergence process if needed.

The entry and administration of tariffs is effected via a graphic user interface on the basis of master data and master data packages. The thereby generated tariff models define units, sequence and price for the booked services. By means of free units, products bundles and discount models, complex billing models can be generated.
Market demands, such as suppression of bill printing in case of marginal amounts or electronic billing, that can lead to cost reductions, are supported by the system.
Our Billing Solution distinguishes itself through its modular structure of system and solution components, whereby a high flexibility and adaptability with regards to customer specific requirements is ensured.

The Billing Solutions is an ideal solution consisting of individual, independent Arman Paya Communications software modules. The components of this solution are:
These modules can be combined individually and can be expanded and integrated at any time due to their structure. The innovative software architecture is based on XML and Unix platforms. The Billing Solution particularly excels through its stability and performance.
The Mediation Device shows the data collection and pre-processing of user data. Flexible in the interfaces with the network, but also with the following systems, this is the starting point for the billing of service uses.
The Product and Pricing is the platform by which you define products, generate and allocate tariff models and decide on the prices for service usage as well as fees. We thereby offer you a mighty and flexible tool for the design of your individual tariffs.
These tariffs are then used in the Rating Engine. This scalable component ensures a quick and precise computation of the costs of usage by means of the customer data collected.
The Billing Interface compiles a bill in XML by means of information about the use, fees and customer master data. Discounts and free units are equally taken into account, invoice recipients are identified and other costs recorded. The results is saved in the XML format and simultaneously transmitted to the ERP system.
The Bill Presentation Module links this XML output with the respective style sheets and templates and generates bills in different formats (.csv, .pdf, etc.) and layouts (collective invoice, EVN, etc.). The invoice issue – printed, electronically, as web display – is generated and delivered by the standard generic XML format. This includes that, as part of the marketing strategy, invoice layouts can flexibly be altered. Furthermore this means the conversion of other formats (e.g. PDF, EDIFact etc.) is effectively supported. In many cases our Billing Solution already provides standard tools for this.
Technology and Integration
The open interfaces of the Billing Solution ensure the interoperability and the flexible use of the individual modules, even in conjunction with systems from other producers.
The Billing Solution currently supports Solaris or Linus (further Unix systems on demand). All graphic user interfaces are web based and optimised for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox.
Oracle 9.0 or higher is employed as a database management system. Porting to other DBMS on demand. Please see the product information for further details.
The solution is scalable. Simultaneous processing threads can be started, particularly in the case of mass data processing in mediation and rating.
Our Billing Solution offers reliability at data level and guarantees a clean and loss-free recovery after a system failure. Detailed revision-secure information on restarting activities and all security procedures is logged.
Mediation Device - TXMD
Data management, the foundation of your business
Our Mediation Device (TXMD) offers a flexible, configurable platform for the data management. The modular structure allows for individual adjustment of the system to existing business processes. By means of appropriate configuration of individual sub-processes and their sequence, requirement-tailored processes can be defined and resources can be employed to an optimal extent. The Mediation Device is as flexible as an individual solution, in terms of its investment security and stability it has the characteristics of a standard product.
With the TXMD we offer a “data management platform” for all kinds of different business processes. Based on collecting, processing and distribution, processes can be shown as a chain of individual processing steps in the system. By means of an API your own scripts and programmes can be integrated into the process chain.
Due to the configurable interfaces of the TXMD, data from different data sources can be processed with different transmission protocols. After the transmission the data can be saved in the system. For this, TXMD offers the possibility of band, or other data drive access.
The data is imported and validated in the configurable format. Depending on process definition, further inspection – duplicate check, pre-processing processes such as the assembly of split records, standardisation etc. for instance – can then be carried out.
The flexible process logic of the TXMD allows for the accumulation of data by external data sources. The base number for telephone number sets can be determined for instance, and be added to the data set. Arman Paya Communications also offers an extension of the TXMD for the display of number portability in the field of mobile telephony (MNP).
